Pumpkin

It’s still autumn, did you notice? I like it. Yesterday was Halloween as well. I did go to a party but didn’t feel like dressing up like a wampire or pumpkin. Instead I got a neat little dress with lace. The lace kind of reminds me of spiderweb. I bought the dress at Monki, a swedish nice brand. They also happen to be my employer and I have been working all last week as a ‘test model’. It’s been really fun and work is the most entertaining part of my life at the moment. School however, is not that fun and I just don’t have the motivation to study. I hope I can find it soon…

Good news are that I am going to Germany over new years. I bought the tickets today, and I will go to Bavaria to visit some friends. I am hoping to go to Frankfurt, Berlin and Nurnberg… Happy times to come =)

I do really miss Japan though. I think of Japan every single day and miss my life there. Maybe I can take my fourth year at university in Japan. That would be awesome. I miss the cleanliness, the politeness, the fashion, the people, the food, the safety. About everything actually. I will go back in the future, that is for sure.

Until I can go back to Japan, there is nothing left to do but doing my best here in Sweden. It seems hard sometimes and meh, I am fed up. But at least soon Christmas will come. Soon… Oh, by the way. Aren’t these boots kind of cute? I found them at home this weekend. I bought them in Tokyo about 2 years ago. The fun part is the pattern on the inside that you can fold out. It looks a bit weird, but still cute somehow I think…

by John Lennon is today’s song. I don’t think I need to comment more on it, do I? It’s just… perfection…

I have got a cold. I have a final test in mathematics next week. Also, I got a part-time job! A really exciting and odd one as well. I am going to work as a ‘test model’ for the Swedish brand Monki. That is, I am going to try on various clothes that designers, Tailors and so on ask me to for about 2 hours a day. The reason to why I got it is that I apparently is a perfect size S. That’s good news, ain’t it? This part-time job only stretches over two months, but I think it will be a good way to get some extra cash and see the fashion industry from a different angle…

I really do need to earn some extra money, really. It’s expensive to be a student. My math book costed about 120 euros! The last month I’ve only bought a new backpack and a new sweater, both cheap bargains from ebay. Other than that, I don’t think I have bought any other clothes at all… The sweater I’m talking about is that on the picture, a wonderful jcrew sweater in lambs wool. It’s so comfy and perfect for evenings of cookies and studying…

Much of my money goes to coffee nowadays. I have an easier time studying at cafes. It’s good for my studies to sit there for hours and hours learning trigonometry and complex numbers, but all these lattes are starting to make my wallet slimmer… Well well. I found a really nice coffee and chocolate shop the other week. For only 3,5 euros you get a big latte and a great delicious praline… yum… Now I have to go and continue studying. It’s friday night, but nowadays nothing seems to stop me from performing gluttony of exponents and hyperbolic functions. Meh…

The last months I have done various things. I have started university, I have baked loads of cookies, and I have tried to save money. As a result, I have become very busy, gained weight and bought almost no new clothes. I suppose that’s why I am not blogging very much nowadays. Well, not the cookie part maybe…

Pot marigold

Anyhow. I am really looking forward to dark november and christmas. I am trying to embrace that by drinking christmas tea and knitting scarfs. Outdoors, some flowers are still fighting the autumn though. Among them are the Tropaeolum and the Pot marigold. Aren’t the colors great? I also made an autumn bouquet. I think it would be good on a dinner table in the dark October, with some autumn stew and red wine…

The last month has passed so quickly. I have gotten to know so many new people. I am not really sure where my life is heading, but at least I have the autumn to rely on. No matter how many other things that change, the seasons will always be there.  And as sure as my mid term exams will come soon, Christmas will also come. Oh how I am looking forward…
